“Around 7 am” our Egypt Tailor Made tour guide will escort you to travel to one of the cities which is located on Delta, on the banks of one of the two main distributaries of the Nile “Rosetta” (60 km from Alexandria) which was built by the orders of the Abbasid Caliph to be a fort during the seventh Crusade on the 9th century A.D on the ruins of an ancient Ptolemaic city on the same area. It’s considered as a large open air museum for Islamic architecture. First you will go to visit Quitbay fortress; it was built by sultan mamluk Quitbay; where the famous Rosetta stone has been discovered (1799 A.D). Then head to Rosetta National Museum which is considered one of the landmark of this eternal town, build inside one of the archaeological houses which dates back to the half of 18th century and visit some of the other land marks of Rosetta ( Hammam Azoz, Abu Mandour mosque and Zainab house).On the way back passing the archaeological houses and local Souk “Local Market” .At the end of the tour to the Nile mouth to enjoy watching the end of the course of The River Nile ended by the Mediterranean sea , and ride felucca at the Nile.

After ending the tour you will be picked up to get back to Alexandria. Upon arrival you will be dropped off at your hotel at Alexandria to stay.
