Cairo Sightseeing tour

At 9.00 am, Our Egypt Tailor Made tour guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel, then he will transfer you by an air conditioned vehicle to visit Giza Plateau to visit the impressive 3 Pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure which are guarded by the rock-cut statue (The Sphinx). The Great Pyramid of King Cheops is the only wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world that is still standing today, although it is 2,000 years older than any other wonder on the list Then,you are going to continue your journey through the history starting with the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which was built in 1902 and it exhibits a large number of items and treasures (exceeding 12,0000 masterpieces) dating back to the ancient Egyptian period and Greco-Roman period including the marvelous collection of the child king Tut Ankh Amon. After finishing the trip you will be picked up back to your hotel in Cairo to stay overnight.

Alexandria Sightseeing Tour from Cairo:

Around 7.00 am , You will be escorted in an air conditioned vehicle from your hotel towards Alexandria (about 3.30 Hrs. Driving) where you will meet your tour guide in Alexandria to discover the beauty and the Greco Roman civilization within a day-tour starting with visiting the catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa which are considered one of the wonders of the middle ages . It's the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt, with three tiers of tombs that could accommodate up to 300 corpses. The cemetery originally was dug to be a private cemetery for one family ,then it was converted to be a public cemetery the architecture of the tombs mirrors Greco-Roman styles. This can be seen in the wall decoration, which shows a unique combination of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman artistic traditions. People are buried here in sarcophagi, in shelves, and in urns of ashes after cremation. Then, You will go to get a photo stop at (Qaitbey’s Citadel) which is considered one of the most important defensive strongholds, not only in Egypt, but also along the Mediterranean Sea coast. It formulated an important part of the fortification system of Alexandria in the 15th century A.D.; The Citadel is situated at the entrance of the eastern harbour on the eastern point of the Pharos Island. It was erected on the exact site of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria, which was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. After that going to visit The Roman Amphitheatre which is Located in the heart of Alexandria, Kom el-Dikka is an extensive Roman theatrical and residential complex. It includes the only known Roman amphitheater in Egypt, an impressively well-preserved structure composed of thirteen terraces. This was constructed in the traditional Greek style. Then going to enjoy the vast space of Montazah Royal Palaces and Gardens which belonging to the royal family of Mohamed Ali Pasha from Khedive Abbas Helmy II till King Farouk I.In our way to the gardens will cross Stanley Bridge, one of the gorgeous modern buildings in Alexandria. You will wander around the 3000 meters wide gardens containing a huge selection of trees and plants and some of them are quite rare. Some of the tropical plants are still in good shape although they have been planted more than 75 years ago. We will end our amazing tour by visiting the Modern Alexandria Library (visit its open court + free museums), the Old library was very famous all over the world for its huge books capacity of different sciences and literature. It was damaged several times during the Greco Roman period until it vanished. The beginning of reconstruct the library started at the late 80s of the last century. The design of the modern library of Alexandria consisted of four underground stores and six upper stores. The special shape of the modern library of Alexandria is considered a special architectural germ. Giza Desert Tour

At 9.00 am, Our Egypt Tailor Made tour guide will escort you from your hotel by air conditioned vehicle to visit the Complex of Saqqara which belongs to King Zoser and his step pyramid which is considered the first pyramid in Egypt and the first rock-cut building in the history. Moving on towards Memphis "one of the ancient Egyptian Capitals until around 2,200 BC" which was a cult center for God Ptah god of creation and artworks , you will find there a lot of temples and monuments dedicated for him. After that heading to Dahshur. The pyramid field of Dahshur lies about 10 km south of Saqqara. The pyramids here include the famed Bent and Red Pyramids built by the 4th Dynasty king Senefru (father of Khufu, builder of the Great Pyramid). The Bent pyramid is the second funerary monument of King Senefru's Complex after Meidum Pyramid .the reason of its shape it was originally designed to rise at the angle of 52°, this was decreased to 43.5° partway up, and a girdle was built around the base, apparently because the foundations were unstable and the angle too steep for safety. The Red Pyramid, Seneferu's third funerary monument, is the first successful true (straight-sided) pyramid ever built. It's called the red because of the reddish color of the stones used in its construction. After this trip you will be transferred to your hotel to stay overnight

Fly to Luxor / Nile Cruise Luxor "East Bank Tour”:

Checking out the hotel and you will be transferred to Cairo airport to catch your flight to Luxor . Upon arrival to Luxor in the morning you will be transferred to visit the two Massive temples on the eastern bank of the Nile. The first one is Karnak Temple Complex which comprises a vast mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings. Building at the complex began during the reign of Senusret I in the Middle Kingdom and continued into the Ptolemaic Period. It's a vast open-air museum, and the second largest ancient religious site in the world. It's mainly a place to worship the Theban triad (Gods Amon, his consort Mut, and their son Khunso). The Second Temple is Luxor Temple which is believed that one of the ancient Egyptian's festivals was held inside the temple as there are different scenes on the walls representing the celebration of the festival. Its inner part was built by King Amenhotep III while the outer part was built by King Ramses II. After entering the temple you will find a mosque called (Abu Al-Haggag) was built on the ruins of a church which were built inside the temple. To the rear of the temple there are chapels built by King Thutmosis III and Alexander the Great. Then going for the Nile Cruise embarkation to have lunch, enjoy folkloric show, having dinner and stay on board overnight in Luxor.

Luxor "West Bank Tour":

You will have breakfast, then you will be picked up to visit the archaeological sites of the ancient Egyptians on the west bank of the Nile including (Valley of the kings where you will see the well preserved tombs belonging to the kings of the new kingdom including the great ruler Ramses II and the child King Tut Ankh Amon, The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut it's called "the Holy of Holies”. It is one the best architecture buildings.it consist of three levels connected with each other by ramps and has different scenes on its walls depicting the divine birth of the Queen and her Commercial expedition to Punt Land. The temple is mainly dedicated to worship the supreme god Amon-Ra, and the 2 Colossi of Memnun which are two massive statues representing King Amenhotep III in a seating Position). Then going back to the floating hotel to have lunch, enjoy folkloric show and start sailing towards Edfu and stay overnight on board sailing

Sail to Edfu-Kom Ombo "Sightseeing":

After arrival to Edfu having breakfast. Then you will go to witness the most complete and well-preserved temple in Egypt flanked by beautiful granite statues of the falcon god Horus. The Ptolemaic temple was dedicated to the falcon god "Horus". The reliefs that cover the walls, columns, and doorways of the temple constitute an extremely important source of information about ancient Egyptian religious and political thought. Among the most interesting of these reliefs tell the story of Horus exacting his revenge on Seth for the murder of his father, Osiris, an event that was re-enacted annually in the temple. Other reliefs recount the stages of the temple’s construction, and provide dates for the completion of different building elements. Ending our tour to Edfu temple and going back to the cruise, and proceed to sail to Kom-Ombo while having lunch. Upon reaching the area you will go to visit the unusual double built temple which is dedicated to the Falcon god "Haroeris"(the southern part) and the crocodile god "Sobek"(the northern part). It was built during the Ptolemaic era. The scene on the inner face of the rear wall of the temple is of particular interest, and probably represents a set of surgical instruments. Going back to the cruise, having the dinner and proceed to sail to Aswan overnight.

Sail to Aswan / Abu Simbel "Sightseeing" / Felucca Ride:

At 6.00 am you will go towards Abu Simbel (Around 3 Hrs. Driving) to visit the location of the most famous temples (The Great and Small temples) of King Ramses II and his wife Queen Nefertari. The most spectacular aspect of this temple is its setting in the solid rock above the banks of the Nile River. The complex is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the "Nubian Monuments," which run from Abu Simbel downriver to Philae (near Aswan). It is believed that the axis of the temple was positioned by the ancient Egyptian architects in such a way that on October 22 and February 22, the rays of the sun would penetrate the sanctuary and illuminate the sculptures on the back wall, except for the statue of Ptah, the god connected with the Underworld, who always remained in the dark. These dates are allegedly the king's birthday and coronation day. Then going back to Aswan afternoon After that, you will go in A Felucca ride around the islands of Aswan and (Kitchener’s Botanical Garden where you will see different beautiful types of subtropical, exotic, and rare plantings and Elephantine island which is the largest island of Aswan area, Elephantine is Greek for elephant as It is believed that the island received its name because it was a major ivory trading center. There are different monuments which were excavated in the island like the ruins of a temple dedicated to the ram god Khnum “God of water". Elephantine was considered as cult center for god Khnum Then going back to the cruise to stay overnight on board.

Aswan "Sightseeing" / Fly to Cairo :

After breakfast, Disembarkation. You will be transferred to visit Aswan's High Dam which is one of the most important achievements of the last century in Egypt .It Contains 18 times the material used in the great pyramid of Cheops and it provides Egypt with the water and electricity and secures the country from the destructive inundation of the Nile River. Then you will visit the Temple of Isis at Philae which its construction started during the reign of Ptolemy II and completed by the Roman emperors. And it was dedicated to goddess Isis which was considered the mother of god and she is the mother god Horus and the consort of God Osiris. Afternoon, going to Aswan International airport to take the flight back to Cairo and after reaching Cairo you will be transferred back to your hotel and stay overnight.

Cairo "Coptic Tour":

After Breakfast ,at 10.00 am. then our guide will escort you to visit a new era, "Coptic Cairo" where you will visit the "Hanging Church" which is dating back to the 3rd Century AD and was dedicated to Virgin Mary ,It's called "Hanging" because of its location above the gatehouse of the ancient Roman fortress "Babylon" .It contains 110 Holy icons depicting beautiful religious scenes. Then visiting "Saint Sergius and Bacchus Church" which is believed to have been built on the spot where the holy family rested at the end of their journey into Egypt. And ending Coptic Cairo tour with a visit to the "Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra" which gained its importance from its Geniza (Store room) was found during the 19th century containing a treasure of abandoned Hebrew secular and sacred manuscripts Then, going to visit one of the marvelous Coptic buildings in Cairo, The Monastery of St. Simon the Tanner or “The Cave Church” which is located in el Mokattam hills area near the Zabbaleen slum or Garbage City which is Cairo's largest informal garbage collectors settlement, where garbage recycling is central to its population's economy. the Monastery of St. Simon the Tanner is the largest and it has an amphitheater with a seating capacity of 20,000.This church is the largest church in the Middle East. It is named after the Coptic Saint, Simon the Tanner, who lived at the end of the 10th century and is associated with the legend of the moving of the Mokattam Mountain.the Monastery of St. Simon the Tanner include the St. Bola's Church, St. Marks Church, and St. Simon the Tanner's Hall. Then, Ending the tour with taking a break at el Azahar Park which is located on a hilly site surrounded by the most significant historic districts of Islamic Cairo.It’s Considered as one of the World’s great public spaces. You will wander around the vast green area while seeing the great Islamic monuments of Cairo. There are also great restaurants there if you want to have a meal in front of this great view. Safari Tour to Fayoum Oasis from Cairo

In the early morning, Our Egypt Tailor Made tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo by an air conditioned 4 × 4 vehicle towards Fayoum oasis “about 95km”. which was considered as a cult center for worshiping The Crocodile God “Sobek” during the ancient Egyptians era. Then you will go to see the largest salt water lake in Egypt “Qaron’s Lake”,It’s also considered the oldest natural lake in the world. You will watch there a magnificent scenery of the winter immigrated birds around the lake and the different kinds of fruits and vegetables. It’s the best place to relax from a hot day tour. After that going to “Wadi al-Rayan” which is designated a Protected Area in 1989. It’s an amazing destination for a soft adventure day trip. After breakfast, at 10.00 am, you will be transferred to one of the most Stunning construction in Cairo “The Citadel of Saladin Al Ayouby”. It was built in 12th century to fortify Cairo against the Crusaders. The citadel was used as the seat of the king and his government in Egypt for many centuries and many dynasties including the Ayyubids, the Mamluks, and even some Ottomans ruled over Egypt from the Citadel. , and the Great Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha which stands proudly on the highest point inside the courtyard of the Citadel of Saladin. It’s one the landmarks in Cairo with its huge space , the beautiful decorations on its walls , and its remarkable domes and minarets. Then, Proceeding to visit 3 great architectural buildings near the Citadel. The First is “Sultan Hassan Madrasa and Mosque” which is one of the extraordinary wonderful monuments in the Islamic world. The architectural parts of the complex are so terrific like The cornices, the entrance, and the monumental staircase. The Second Building is “Al Refaie Mosque” that lies right beside Sultan Hassan Madrasa. The Mosque was established by Khoshiar, the mother of Khedive Ismail to be the mausoleum of the royal family. It took 43 years to build this beautiful sanctuary that combines different Islamic architectural styles. After that visiting the biggest mosque in Egypt “Ahmed Ibn Tulun “ and watching the great view of Islamic Cairo from its minaret Then moving to "Islamic Cairo" and taking a walking tour in the 1000 years old "el Moez" street which is considered as an open air museum for Terrific Islamic Buildings which are decorated with different patterns and paints, then ending our tour with going to Khan el Khalili Bazaar which is one of Cairo's main attractions ..the district of Khan el Khalili was originally a mausoleum called "el Zaafran" for the burial of Fatimid Caliphs ,after that it became a district for the Turkish community during the Ottoman period , and now it becomes a bazzar where you will find many souvenirs shops ,coffeehouses "Café" serving Arabic coffee and offering Hookah "Shisha", and restaurants throughout the area.
