Cairo Arrival:

Upon arrival to Cairo Airport our Egypt Tailor Made Tours representative will meet and assist you crossing the customs hall, then picking you up to your hotel to check in and stay in Cairo overnight.

Cairo "Pyramids Tour" :

At 8.00 am, Our Egypt Tailor Made tour guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel, then he will transfer you by an air conditioned vehicle to visit Giza Plateau to visit the impressive 3 Pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure which are guarded by the rock-cut statue (The Sphinx). The Great Pyramid of King Cheops is the only wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world that is still standing today, although it is 2,000 years older than any other wonder on the list Then you will go to witness the Complex of Saqqara which belongs to King Zoser and his step pyramid which is considered the first pyramid in Egypt and the first rock-cut building in the history. After that heading to Dahshur . The pyramid field of Dahshur lies about 10 km south of Saqqara. The pyramids here include the famed Bent and Red Pyramids built by the 4th Dynasty king Senefru (father of Khufu, builder of the Great Pyramid). The Bent pyramid is the second funerary monument of King Senefru's Complex after Meidum Pyramid .the reason of its shape it was originally designed to rise at the angle of 52°, this was decreased to 43.5° partway up, and a girdle was built around the base, apparently because the foundations were unstable and the angle too steep for safety. The Red Pyramid, Seneferu's third funerary monument, is the first successful true (straight-sided) pyramid ever built. It's called the red because of the reddish color of the stones used in its construction.

Driving) where you will discover the beauty and the Greco Roman civilization within a day-tour starting with visiting the catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa which are considered one of the wonders of the middle ages . It's the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt, with three tiers of tombs that could accommodate up to 300 corpses. The cemetery originally was dug to be a private cemetery for one family ,then it was converted to be a public cemetery the architecture of the tombs mirrors Greco-Roman styles. This can be seen in the wall decoration, which shows a unique combination of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman artistic traditions. People are buried here in sarcophagi, in shelves, and in urns of ashes after cremation. Then, You will go to get a photo stop at (Qaitbey’s Citadel) which is considered one of the most important defensive strongholds, not only in Egypt, but also along the Mediterranean Sea coast. It formulated an important part of the fortification system of Alexandria in the 15th century A.D.; The Citadel is situated at the entrance of the eastern harbour on the eastern point of the Pharos Island. It was erected on the exact site of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria, which was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Then going to enjoy the vast space of Montazah Royal Palaces and Gardens which belonging to the royal family of Mohamed Ali Pasha from Khedive Abbas Helmy II till King Farouk I.In our way to the gardens will cross Stanley Bridge, one of the gorgeous modern buildings in Alexandria. You will wander around the 3000 meters wide gardens containing a huge selection of trees and plants and some of them are quite rare. Some of the tropical plants are still in good shape although they have been planted more than 75 years ago. We will end our amazing tour by visiting the Modern Alexandria Library (visit its open court + free museums), the Old library was very famous all over the world for its huge books capacity of different sciences and literature. It was damaged several times during the Greco Roman period until it vanished. The beginning of reconstruct the library started at the late 80s of the last century. The design of the modern library of Alexandria consisted of four underground stores and six upper stores. The special shape of the modern library of Alexandria is considered a special architectural germ. Transfer to Siwa Oasis / Visit to Shali :

In the morning after breakfast , checking out, then Our Egypt Tailor Made Tour Guide will pick you from your hotel by air conditioned vehicle to travel to Siwa oasis. In the middle of our way we will stop at Marsa Matrouh, one of the beautiful cities on the Mediterranean Sea Cost, You will have lunch there at Sea food restaurant, then proceed your way to Siwa oasis. Upon arrival to Siwa , you will be transferred to your hotel to check in have rest and refreshment , then, you will go to visit Shali "the old city of Siwa", It was founded in the 13th century .It was built on a hill inside a protective wall originally breached by a single gate; to be a fortress in the middle of Siwa city to protect the city from the tribal attacks. After that going back to the hotel to stay overnight.

Siwa Oasis Sightseeing :

After breakfast,You will be picked by Horse Drawn Carriage to visit the famous sites around Siwa, Starting with the Mountain of the Dead "Gabal al Maouta" which is located 1 km outside the city of Siwa, the mountain is full of ancient tombs and has a calcareous soil and the tombs take the shape of a hive of a bee carved in the stone. There are some interesting tombs worth to be visited like Niperpathot, Si-Amon, Mesu Isis, and the Crocodile tomb. Then, going to The Temple of the Oracle or the Temple of Alexander the Great. It was built on Aghurmi Plateau (about 4 km east of Siwatown). Its remains now have beautiful drawings and carvings telling the story of the temple with portrait to god Amon. The temple is famous because it's believed that Alexander the great had visited the temple. Moving on to visit Cleopatra's Pool "Ein Guba" which is a stone pool fed by a natural hot spring where the Egyptian queen herself is said to have swam there during her visit to Siwa. Now, you can take a nice swim there to refresh yourself after a hot day tour. Then, Ending the tour with a visit to Fatnas Island which is completely covered with Palms and trees. It lies beside Siwa Lake. You can stay there till the sunset as the view there is very spectacular with the different colors. After that you will be transferred back to your hotel to stay in Siwa overnight.

Transfer to Cairo :

In the morning, after breakfast, checking out , and you will start your way back by the air conditioned private vehicle towards Cairo. Upon arrival to Cairo, you will be transferred to your hotel to check in and stay overnight in Cairo.

Cairo "City Tour" :

After Breakfast , around 8.30 am , our Egypt Tailor Made tour guide will escort you to continue your journey through the history starting with the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which was built in 1902 and it exhibits a large number of items and treasures (exceeding 12,0000 masterpieces) dating back to the ancient Egyptian period and Greco-Roman period including the marvelous collection of the child king Tut Ankh Amon After that proceeding to a new era "The Coptic Cairo" where you will visit the "Hanging Church" which is dating back to the 3rd Century AD and was dedicated to Virgin Mary ,It's called "Hanging" because of its location above the gatehouse of the ancient Roman fortress "Babylon" .It contains 110 Holy icons depicting beautiful religious scenes. Then visiting "Saint Sergius and Bacchus Church" which is believed to have been built on the spot where the holy family rested at the end of their journey into Egypt. And ending Coptic Cairo tour with a visit to the "Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra" which gained its importance from its Geniza (Store room) was found during the 19th century containing a treasure of abandoned Hebrew secular and sacred manuscripts Then ending our tour with going to Khan el Khalili Bazaar which is one of Cairo's main attractions ..the district of Khan el Khalili was originally a mausoleum called "el Zaafran" for the burial of Fatimid Caliphs ,after that it became a district for the Turkish community during the Ottoman period , and now it becomes a bazzar where you will find many souvenirs shops ,coffeehouses "Café" serving Arabic coffee and offering Hookah "Shisha", and restaurants throughout the area. After finishing the tour you will be picked up to your hotel to stay overnight.
